Harrell Funeral Home extends a heartfelt invitation to you, your family, and friends to choose a Remembrance Service location that meets your needs best. We are hosting services at every one of our locations and encourage you to join us in paying tribute to your cherished loved one.

Our Gift To You.

(One Ornament per Family)

Our gift to your family this Christmas is a beautifully crafted crystal ornament, featuring a delicate, beveled-cut edge and professionally engraved. Each ornament serves as a cherished reminder of your loved one and is personalized with your loved one's name and the year of their passing.

Ordering Additional Ornaments

Many families request to purchase ornaments for siblings, grandchildren, and friends. The crystal ornaments are available to purchase.

The ornament cost is $30 and can be mailed to you using trackable delivery for an additional $10 for one ornament. The order deadline is December 18th, 2024. If you want ornament orders to be picked up at the service, please have your order in a week in advance of the service.

Meet Debbie Peel
Owner of JDP Etching & Design

My name is Debbie Peel, and I am very honored to be able to make the remembrance ornaments for Harrell Funeral Home this year. I learned a form of engraving called sandcarving while working for a local stone company for 14 years. I loved the depth and beautiful results that are achieved using this technique.

In 2012, our world was shattered when we lost our son, John. We received some memorial gifts that were beautiful and comforting, not only in how they honored John, but also they reminded us we were not in this alone. Occasionally at work, I would meet a customer who was suffering from loss, so I decided I wanted to start my own glass etching business where I could design remembrances that were very personal and comforting. I started JDP Etching & Design in 2017, and while I engrave for all occasions, remembrance pieces are especially meaningful to me.

My heart goes into sandcarving each ornament by hand. My hope is that it will be a reminder of your loved one’s beautiful spirit, hope, and the connection to those who are on this journey of loss and healing with you.

Please RSVP as soon as possible so I can begin making a special ornament for your family. Harrell Funeral Home graciously provides one free ornament each family they serve. If you would like to purchase additional ornaments, the will cost $30 each.
